Updated: Jan 13 -- VERY IMPORTANT!!  Tanzanites:  your team mom may not be at the competition this weekend.  Kelley Iezzi has volunteered to be Tanzanites (and Sapphires) Team Mom for the weekend.  When you arrive in Charlotte on Friday, please contact Kelley at (412) 916-7819.  Thanks!  ALSO, please check back tomorrow for times for the weekend.

January 15-17, 2010

General Information:
IF YOU ARE FLYING, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES CHECK YOUR UNIFORM.  KEEP IT WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES!!  Even direct flights lose luggage, therefore do NOT take any changes.

Everybody needs to be in Charlotte by 6:00 p.m. on Friday.  Please call your team mom and let her know as soon as the cheerleader makes it to Charlotte.  Please do not be the individual that your team mom has to track down and locate - please show them enough respect to call them and let them know you are there.  Also, if there is going to be an issue with arriving in Charlotte as expected, please contact your team mom ASAP and they will let Bonnie know.

You can enter the convention center from either College Street or Martin Luther King Dr. If you enter from Martin Luther King Dr. you will be entering by Hall C. If you enter from College Street, you will be entering by Hall A.

FCA Cheerleaders are not permitted to walk around with skirts or tops unzipped at any time. On Saturday, please change out of your uniform after compting.  On Sunday, please stay in complete uniform until after their awards (this includes shoes). Do not take anything on the awards floor with you.

Playville USA (for younger children) - inflatables for siblings/participants is available in the rear of Hall of A and is $5 per day.

Cheerleaders are not to wear partial uniforms. After your awards, you must either stay in complete uniform or change completely out of your uniform. For example: do not wear your FCA top with jeans/sweats, do not wear your skirt with a tank top and boots.



Hotel Information:
If you booked hotels through the website, you are either at the Hilton or the Marriott.  Both are on this map:  http://static.charlotteconventionctr.com/documents/Center_City_2008.pdf.  The Hilton is the green 9 dot and the Marriot is the green 3 dot.  The convention center is the red 4 dot.

Admission: (recommended that you purchase these Friday)
The cost is $30 per person for a weekend admission and a nationals program.  If you just need to get admission for just one day it is $20 per person.

These are available at the convention center from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and starting at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday at the College Street entrance.


INJURED CHEERLEADERS:  If you are not competing due to an injury, you need to be in complete uniform in order to go with the team.

Hall C - There are 5 teams in their division.

Satuday: Pink Ice competes at 9:40 a.m. and starts their division.  Their division ends after the team competing at 10:20 a.m.

Sunday: Pink Ice competes at 10:20 a.m.

Awards: 11:45 a.m.
