Please call your team mom immediatley upon arrival and let her know you are in Ocean City.  Sapphires Team Mom this weekend is Kelli Tamewitz (724) 433-9539.
Admission:  Free!
Meeting Room:  We do not have one!  We will get word out to Team Moms where the meeting place will be.  This is the first time we have ever competed at this competition, so we need to check it out on Friday.
VIP Seating:  There will be a section for parents and fans to watch up close.  This is standing room only and the floor will have any area taped off for coaches.  No one is permitted in the coach area except the coaching staff.  Please reserve the front of the parent section for the parents with cheerleaders that are performing on the stage at that time.
Uniforms:  FCA Cheerleaders:  you are not permitted to wear part of their uniforms with street clothes at any time.  This includes shoes!!  You are not permitted wear walk around with skirts or tops unzipped.  Please make sure your socks are solid white.  You must also be in full uniform at awards.  Crossovers must be in correct uniform at awards if at all possible.
Hair:  Please make sure fake hair is in correctly and tight!!  We are redoing way too many heads of hair before the competition and at warm ups!
Awards:  Anything given to the girls on stage must be given to Flo or Bonnie.  Do not distribute them on stage.  Someone always gets left out and doesn't receive whatever it is.  By giving these to Flo or Bonnie, this will help eliminate this problem.  Team Moms have a check list to go be to make sure all girls get items!

PLEASE PRINT AND BRING THE INFORMATION WITH YOU!!
It is very important that the cheerleaders are on time and ready to go at the designated meeting time! Parents please remember that you may have to drop your Gem off with the team mom and then go to a performance to cheer for another team. Cheerleaders that are excessively late or not ready will be punished. The Team Meeting Time is when the cheerleaders are required to meet in the designated team meeting room. We will not know where our meeting room is until Friday when we get there. The Team MOM time is when the team mom will walk the team to the outside of the warm-up area. For no reason is a team mom allowed to begin warm-ups (even if the warm-up person is insisting) always wait for a coach!

Team moms need to have their phone with them in case a coach calls and needs to change the plan of where/when the team is meeting. If there is no designated time for the team mom to take the team outside of warm-ups that means the team will stay in the meeting room until a coach calls or comes to get them. Please be flexible and ready for anything. The Competition Company is still in the process of changing the schedule! We will keep your team mom updated if times have to be changed!

Please remind your Gem that the team moms are there to help the coaches and that the girls are to be respectful to them. If we have any problems with the cheerleaders being disrespectful to the team moms the cheerleaders will be required to come to the gym and sweep mats and clean the bathrooms in order to continue cheering! Having team moms enables us coaches to be with each team in the warm-up room as long as possible, it also allows us a couple of minutes during the crazy day to grab something to eat and we appreciate them greatly!

Crossovers – If your performance time and your next team meeting time overlap, make sure that someone on your second team has your uniform with them. If it is close, give someone on your team your uniform even if you think you will have time to change, just incase your first team runs behind schedule! For awards please try to be in the correct uniform, if you can’t try to at least have the correct bow in and hide your top for the pictures! Not all the crossovers are going to be able to attend both of their award ceremonies. We will try to have someone run the girls to them if we can, but we are not always able to.

Cheerleaders please be careful and stay together at the competition and in the hotel. If we see you wondering around by yourself you will be in trouble! We want you to be SAFE!
